Vermont Trip

We spent a wonderful week with some of our family exploring New England. We started in Boston by going ice skating at Boston Common "Frog Pond". It was magical...except for the cold! We only have a couple pictures from our first night in Boston because it was too cold to keep getting the camera out!

The next day we did a little better job at dressing like we were in Boston, so here are a few from our visit to Harvard.

After Harvard we headed to Stowe, Vermont and had dinner at our adorable Inn. Then we played a very exciting game of "Settlers of Catan."

The next day we hit the slopes at Stowe. Braden and I had so much fun! This was the first time we had ever skiing together!

Our second day in Stowe we took a break from skiing and went exploring. We went on a hike up Mountain Road to see Smuggler's Notch.

Kelly and Trevor did some exploring in one of the caves

After the next day of skiing we ended the day with dinner at an adorable 50's era diner.

On our last morning in Stowe we stopped by the covered bridge and The Von Trapp Family Lodge.

Then we headed to Montreal for the night. Montreal was so beautiful! Here are some of my favorites...the city felt magical after sunset when all of the street lights came on.

The next day we made the long trip from Montreal to Newburyport, Massachusetts and on our last night we had dinner at the "Grog". Then the Willis brothers showed us some favorite places in town where they grew up, and we did take a break from our tour to build a snowman! The next morning we did a little shopping and visited their old house.

Kelly's first Snowman!

This trip was so much fun! We had a blast skiing, eating great food and exploring all of these wonderful places with our family! We can't wait for the next trip!
