Churchman Family Christmas

Last Saturday I got to do a shoot with some of my favorite people, who happen to be one of the cutest couples I know, and their adorable puppydog Tucker! John and Caitlin just celebrated their third anniversary and they are still as adorable as ever. We spent Saturday afternoon in Roswell taking pictures for their annual Christmas cards.

We started in a cute little park in downtown Roswell that was complete with a gigantic Christmas tree! Tucker was such a little gentleman for the photo shoot!

These two love to play when Tucker isn't looking!

Washburn Baby Book Shower

This weekend we celebrated the much anticipated arrival of Baby Girl Washburn with a children's book themed shower. The inspiration for the food, drinks, desserts, decor and even gifts came from some of the classic children's books. The decor included a sampling of these classic books displayed throughout the party and banners made up of tiny replicas of these beloved stories. The appetizers, main dish, sides, punch and desserts were all inspired by the hostesses favorite children's books. The guests were asked to bring a children's book in lieu of a card to add to Julianna's library.

Banners of some favorites!

Here are some of the delicious book themed dishes.

"Yucky" Potato Salad Casserole

"Green Eggs and Ham"

French Croissants

Apple Cake from "The Giving Tree"

"If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" - Gluten free cookies

"Pinkalicious" Cupcakes

Royal Rumpus Punch

Peter Rabbit's Spinach Salad

Pigs in a Blanket for "The Three Little Pigs"

"Can't You Sleep Little Bear" - Figs glazed with honey on Brie

GT Homecoming 2013

Tailgating and Gameday Photography Fun! I'm still playing with my 50mm prime lens, but I'm learning that even though I'm really excited about it this is not always the best lens choice. I think I ended up with some really fun photos from our tailgate, but there were more than a couple of times that I asked a friend to take a picture with me in it...this led to lots of confusion! You have to keep telling them to back up! I think my kit lens will be joining me at the game next time.

Having a snack with some of my favorite ladies!

Another group of favorites and BFFs!
We had lots of first time homecoming attendees this year...some of them were even first time tailgaters! Henry, Evan and Paige are some of my new favorite Yellow Jackets!

This was definitely one of the Homecoming highlights - meeting baby Henry!
Evan definitely enjoyed the beautiful fall weather at his first
GaTech Homecoming Tailgate!
Evan and his awesome Mom Kelly!
Of course Anna had to get some Evan time in too!
Pretty Girls! Paige is enjoying her first
Homecoming too!

So cute! I love the way this photo ended up...now

Adorable little Yellow Jackets!

Finally gametime! It was a beautiful afternoon, but it got pretty chilly that night so my sweet hubby took me to the bookstore to get some gameday sweats to keep me warm during the game. He's a keeper!

This was such a fun day! We got to catch up with so many friends over awesome tailgate food and we even topped off a great day with a win!

Why are baby yawns the cutest thing ever?!!

Thank you Sarah for sharing your beautiful daughter for the weekend! I had so much fun meeting her and trying to capture some of her cuteness!
