Wine Bottling Party

The Sugars hosted a "Wine Bottling Party" to celebrate finishing their wine making for the year and to...surprise - Bottle the Wine!

We started the afternoon off with a wine tasting from all of the previous years' wines and finished the tasting with the 2013 wines that we were about start bottling!

We got a crash course in wine making :

We spent some time enjoying the view from the beautiful Swiss Family Robinsonesque Deck...

 

 

Then the real work began...at least for some of the boys:

Some had more difficult jobs than others, C.W. had the important task of taking care of the "overfilled" bottles and testing the product of course!

Of course I had to help too!

Such a wonderful way to spend a rainy day with friends. Braden had so much fun he's started looking into making his own wine!
